A member of the JAVOedge family checks out the Fiber Axis Case for the iPad. You know how the people within your own family can be the hardest to please? I mean, if you can’t even get your sister, brother, or mom on board how in the world would you want to sell it to a stranger? Well,  we were very happy that the case met this member’s picky tech tastes.

Want to see how picky he is? Here’s an excerpt from his expectations for an iPad case:

“I have specific requirements for what I want in a case based on how I know I use it:
1. I want to access and use the device while it’s in the case.
This means that I am not interested in a bag or pouch.
2. I want something that looks good.
The iPad by itself is a wonderfully slick looking piece of hardware. If I am going to be putting it into a case, I want that case to reflect good design.
3. Access to all of the ports and switches.
4. No need for storing extra things in the case.”
I don’t need pockets. That’s what pants are for. (see 1.)
5. I am not interested in decidedly kludgy looking methods for securing my iPad in the case.
If there are four elastic straps over the corners holding my device in place, I’ll pass.

Overall, this is a case I would wholeheartedly recommend to any of my friends who were looking for the same features I covered. Right away I can definitely say this is a better value than the stock apple iPad case, hands down (and the same price, $39.95 USD, to boot!).”

The Gadgeteer Blog lands its eye on our JAVOedge Plaid Axis Case for the iPad giving it attention and props over its ability to transform in portrait or landscape mode. Yep, that’s pretty handy. See it in action below:

Over at NookBoards, an online forum for Barnes & Nobles Nook owners, simply particular, a forum member shares her review of the JAVOedge Cherry Blossom (Ocean Blue) for the Nook. Here are her snapshots of her lovely case. Here are some thoughts she had on her new case:

“I specifically chose the Flip design, so that I can read it easily at night in bed, and while nursing a baby. I was never a fan of heavy hardcovers, but with babies, they are nearly impossible. Handsfree reading is really fabulous…The quality of the linen fabric was everything I’d hoped it would be. It feels really nice in-hand”

For a snappy, minimalist design, the JAVOedge Back Covers are lightweight and offer scratch, scuff protection for your iPad’s rear. It’s great for when you want to still hold your iPad in your hands as naked as possible. Plus, it helps separate your iPad from everyone else’s in the room. Clad it either in a Japanese print fabric clad design  in the JAVOedge Cherry Blossom Back Cover for iPad or in the sustainable  cork embedded JAVOedge Corky Back Cover for iPad.

Welcome to the Wide World of Sports, JAVOedge style. Whether you’re a basketball, tennis, or baseball fan – JAVOedge lets you declare your fandom with your iPad. With these cases, you will get noticed off and on field. Due to our sports-loving boss, we’ve made these custom cases mimic the feel of a basketball (down to the rubberized pebble touch surface) to the smooth grip of a baseball skin (including snappy red stitching), to the slightly fuzzy soft feel of the tennis ball (felt groove marks included). As fitting for the Axis, these cases can transition from portrait mode to landscape mode and tilt to your preferred view.

For added dimensional appeal, the JAVOedge Jelly Case for iPhone 4 adds a cool see-through factor without taking away from your iPhone’s original look. A picture is worth a thousand words so I’ll let you do the staring. The thermoplastic design is flexible and holds up to bumps, scuffs, and scratches. It’s also a snap to install on the iPhone and has a nice diamond pattern backing to it. You can even lay your iPhone 4 flat on its front because the case grips the side and front edges.
