JavoEdge recently released a Silicone case for the Cingular 2125. It provides shock protection and a solid grip to the phone. It boasts EAD (Enhanced Anti Dust) coating. Dust attraction was a problem plaguing other similar types of cases. It also comes in 5 colors or tints. I chose the Frosty Blue one for this review. The JavoEdge case showed up in a nice plastic container that didn’t require power tools to open as most packages of this type usually do.
I was fortunate enough to get my hands on one of these new leather cases for our Q from JAVOedge and here are my thoughts.
For $25.95 from www.javoedge.com this case is nicer than the Naztech Cabrio leather case I’ve reviewed.
Recently we’ve been having stock issues since we were updating our inventory system. Things got a little confusing during the transition and products were not replenished that needed to be. Our mother of all shipments is schedule to arrive on August 11th. You should be seeing most of our out of stock products coming back in stock. On top of that, you should be seeing some new products such as a new JAVOSkin for one of the most anticipated and requested model. I’ll give you a hint, it is thought as the rival to the Cingular 2125 as well as its sister in the USA market. Until then, I’ll keep you all updated if there are any changes on this issue!

Edvarcl Heng over at c|net Asia reports on the new upcoming Creative Zen Neeon 2 portable music MP3 player. Could this be the iPod killer (finally)? Competition is always a consumer’s dream so keep it up Creative! Note that this is a prototype model and it may not reflect on the final product.
After the launch of the Creative Zen V (and info on the Zen V Plus), we were expecting Creative to lay low for a bit and ruminate on the ramifications of the upcoming Microsoft Zune player. Instead, the Singapore-based firm sprang a surprise on us with an MP3 player that’s geared towards Asian consumers.
Our friends at msmobiles.com have a great collection of podcasts on a wide variety of subject matters important to Windows Mobile users. We admire their perspective – independent from any corporate influence such as from Microsoft. This week, mytreo.net’s Tadd Rosenfeld participated on a podcast with the CEO of JAVOedge and the webmaster of msmobiles.com.
Some engadget fans were lucky enough to beta test this beauty, the T-Mobile UMA. So whats so different about this phone versus others? The ability to transfer phone calls utilizing UMA between traditional GSM networks and a compatible WiFi access point, that’s what. At this time, there are mixed reviews. Some report calls dropping during the GSM to WiFi transfer and poor call quality on WiFi mode. While others report flawless functionality. T-Mobile plans to charge a couple bucks of month for use of UMA. Regardless of cost or the quality of UMA, it is definity a great idea.
