Hands on with the LG Venus

Here’s the Venus. Let’s forgot about the connotation of the name because there’s nothing girly about this phone. I’m pretty sure I like it more than the Voyager. Again, I didn’t have too much time with this one last month so a full review will follow next week. I just wish the entire screen was touch, but you can’t have everything in life. Yesterday UPS dropped it off, and I’ve been playing with it constantly ever since. It is a powerful thing, ambitious in that it combines much of what we like about both the iPhone and the BlackBerry into a single compact system. But it has flaws that make it hard for me to give the highest marks, especially with an after-rebate price tag of $300.
