The web site of Palm’s affiliated software store has posted pictures of the Palm Treo 680 and the Palm Treo 750 with Cingular branding. There are however no other bits of information as part of this slip.
Treo 680
It has been rumored for some time that this company has a new Palm OS smartphone in the works, and this picture essentially confirms it.
It also confirms that this device will have a great deal in common with the Treo 750v, a model which will be available in Europe soon.
Like that smartphone, the 680 will greatly resemble previous Treos, but not need the unpopular external antenna that those models had to have.
There have been rumors that this will be a low-cost device, though exactly what its price will be is not yet known.
Treo 750
It shouldn’t surprise anyone that Palm intends to release a version of the Treo 750v in the United States, and this leaked picture confirms it.
Like its European counterpart, the 750 will run Windows Mobile 5 and use the new antenna-less design.
According to previous rumors, Cingular will begin offering both the Treo 750 the Treo 680 next month.
