The first thing I noticed when I put the skin on my SDA was the feel - I loved the soft rubber feel of it. I was concerned that the rubber might be susceptible to accumulating dust really quickly, but the opposite is true. Even in my lint-filled jeans pocket, it stays clean. Another nice benefit, if you’re like me, was that the phone no longer falls sideways in your pocket, but stays upright as I want it to. Sounds like a small thing, but it makes a huge comfort difference when you always have your phone in your front jeans pocket.

I was somewhat concerned about the usability of the keypad with the skin on, and the likelihood of keys getting pressed while the phone was in my pocket. Neither of these are concerns for me any longer. The keys still function nearly perfectly, and as far as I can tell I’m not getting any more unwanted key presses in the pocket than I used to. They really did a great job designing the keypad for this.

The included lanyard was a nice little bonus too. I typically wouldn’t use one, but it’s the long variety, so I have started using it when driving. I’ve always had the habit of forgetting my phone on my lap when exiting a vehicle, so now I throw it around my neck as soon as I get in the car. Problem solved.

The only issue I have with the case, and it’s certainly not major enough to cause me to stop using it, is the fit. It is just a little bit too loose, which causes the keypad of the skin to misalign with the keypad on the phone. This really only applies to the soft keys and media keys, as can be seen in the picture below.

If the skin is positioned so that the keys all line up, then there is a little extra room at the bottom of the case. The phone then always slides down to accommodate the extra room, and the misaligned keys are the result. Surprisingly, even when misaligned, the keys all still function nicely, so it’s really more of an aesthetic problem than a functionality problem.

Other than that, I really love the skin, and it looks great on the phone. It’s not too bulky, and I’m not embarrassed to be seen using the phone with it on. Very sharp and stylish. See picture(s) below.
